Over the past week I have started seriously drawing. Mostly in a traditional method, at least to start off with.
Its good to finally get some motivation to do something again after the loss of my best friend in May. That event realy hit me hard, and as a result I completely lost all desire to do any more canvas paintings.
But the good thing is MaelstromMachine aka Chris has inspired me to learn drawing.

How do you add details to the leather? Like for example, if I want to add some writing onto it. Would I just carve out grooves which could then be painted a darker color?
